*Please note that dog and cat boarding is currently unavailable at our Ingleside shelter. We are currently only offering dog boarding at our Kemps Creek shelter. We will update this website when Ingleside boarding is open for bookings again.

There are many Sydney boarding kennels to choose from but when you leave your dog or cat with Animal Welfare League NSW you can be assured they will receive the best treatment from our experienced staff and (as a bonus) all the money raised from our boarding service goes directly back into our organisation helping abandoned, neglected and surrendered animals in need.

We have two Sydney boarding kennels to choose from, one at our Kemps Creek shelter (south west Sydney) and one at our Ingleside shelter (north Sydney) (currently not available). Location maps can be found here.

When your pet boards with us they will be looked after by passionate and qualified staff who work with animals every day and treat boarding clients as part of their family. Our staff are dedicated to animal welfare and making your pet feel comfortable, loved and happy during their stay. They regularly work with animals who fret in different environments so know techniques to help your pet relax while you’re away.

You can board your cat or dog at our Ingleside shelter, or just your dog at our Kemps Creek shelter.

For the health and safety of your pet and all of the animals in care, all animals boarding at the Animal Welfare League must have a current vaccination and be desexed. A certificate will need to be presented when confirming a boarding booking. Animals must have full vaccination status at least 2 weeks prior to their entry date to be fully covered against disease. Our Vet Clinic based at Kemps Creek can assist with vaccinations and desexing if required.
