Daisy and Dino

Earlier this month we came to your shelter at Ingleside and adopted two kittens to be part of our family. We wanted to write and let you know that they are enjoying their new home and we all love them very much.

They are gorgeous kittens and lots of fun. Dino is a wild boy who loves to play chasing games with paper balls. Daisy is a big sook and will sleep for hours in amongst the teddies in the play room. We have attached some photos for you.

Varmint and Quincy his canine friend

I wanted to let you know that my family and I are the happy owners of two adoptees from the AWL.

We first met our feline friend a couple of years ago and he’s turned out to be such a treat – eats whenever he wants, sleeps wherever he wants, does whatever he wants (including shredding our couches, my suitcase, the moving boxes) but you get that! I can’t remember his adopted name, but due to my husband’s sense of humour he’s now known as “Varmint” but we love him dearly and will search the house for ages if we can’t find him at bedtime for our cuddle.

Our other wonderful addition didn’t come to us directly from AWL, but she was adopted from AWL by another family who moved to WA when we offered to take her. She was called Rogue and is now called Quincy-Dog. She’s the smartest little thing and follows me around all day, and will not be far from her ‘ball’ at any time, always wanting a play (and we do).

We love our pets dearly. When we need another one and I know we will, I will always adopt! And I will continue to support the AWL as much as I can.

A letter from Blue the Cat

To my friends at AWL,

My owners are very happy. And so am I. Thank you from all of us, for finding me a wonderful home.

They are two caring people who love me, play with me and groom me each day. I love to play the piano with my owner and they say I talk a lot. I have a snuggle house to hide in if I want to, and at night I sleep on a lovely soft bed with them. Chrsitmas was wonderful - I helped to decorate the tree! Can't wait til next Christmas as I got lots of gifts.

They keep telling me how cute I am and they say to tell you that you people were right when you said I have a lovely nature. Here is a photo of me taken last Christmas, aren't I lovely!
