The AWL Eurobodalla Branch was established in 2003 and covers from Batemans Bay to the North and Bermagui to the South. The Branch has around 60 members and is 100% run by dedicated volunteers.
Did you know that 47% of the population in rural areas outside Sydney volunteer their services, compared to 3% in Sydney and surrounding suburbs?
The volunteers conduct many activities, include caring or fostering, fundraising, welfare, liaison, publicity, arranging desexing and subsidies, and any activity to assist with the AWL cause “because every animal is special”.
The Branch is 100% reliant on donations and conducts three big fundraising events per year - a Garage Sale in the South in March, Annual Tailwaggers Walk on the third Sunday in September and a Garage Sale in the North in November. Or we can often be found at local events that includes markets and festivals.
All of our animals available for adoption can be found on the AWL or Pet Rescue Websites.
Our general meetings are held every third Wednesday of every month unless advised to members otherwise.
If you'd like to become a volunteer or have any enquires regarding any pets in care or otherwise please call Elaine on 0410016612 or email email@example.com

Tailwaggers Walk 2016
Tailwaggers walk was started by Big Dog, Cleo (with inside help from Gabe Eichler, AWL Eurobodalla Branch President) and volunteer Heather Ferguson with her little dog Spikey. Over 80 dogs walked the trail to the boardwalk and returned for entertainment bythe Awesome Band who were given howls of approval! Stalls of pet products, vet information, local service information, breakfast and coffees, and the dog and people painting were all highlights. Approximately $1500 was raised for much needed AWL Branch funds, assisted by a large contingent of Branch volunteers with great support from the local community. Thanks go to everyone who walked or just came along in support of animal welfare!
