 Bella arrived at the AWL Shelter as a neglected kitten as her family no longer wanted her.

 She now enjoys greeting visitors, relaxing in the shade and playing with her feline friends.

 Ernie

 Ernie was in care at the AWL Shelter while his owner was in hospital for many months.

 Sadly, his owner passed away, and so Ernie moved in and is much loved by all of us.

 Katie was abandoned by her owners and brought to the AWL Shelter by our Inspectors.

 Katie now enjoys life with her many feline friends at AWL.

  Lucky

 Lucky was brought to the AWL Shelter after he was found lying in a gutter injured.

 He has been with us ever since.

 Missy

 Missy was sadly abandoned by her owners, however found sanctuary with us.

 She enjoys her days in the company of the other resident cats.

  Mister

 Mister came to live at the AWL Shelter after he was rescued by our Inspectors.

 He was abandoned together with his siblings, and he is an affectionate boy.

  Scooter

 Scooter is a cheeky young lady who spends her days supervising her feline friends and staff.

 Scooter particularly enjoys watching the bird life and butterflies in the gardens.

 Jock

 Jock's elderly owner brought him to the AWL Shelter when he had to be hospitalised.

 Sadly Jock's owner passed away in hospital and so he moved in to the Shelter.

 Jock enjoys life with his three girlfriends, who play ball and chasings.

  Jacko

 Jacko moved into the AWL Shelter after her elderly owner went to live in a nursing home.

 She is rather vocal and loves to chatter and sing Jingle Bells and Charlie is My Darling.

Bill was rescued after his cage fell from the boot of a moving car. 

He now enjoys entertaining our visitors, staff and volunteers!
