Animal Welfare League NSW is financially dependent on donations and bequests to continue our vital work.

A bequest to Animal Welfare League NSW will ensure that the protection, care and rights of unwanted, neglected and abandoned animals continues well into the future. It will also ensure that animal welfare issues of the future are identified, researched and promoted throughout the community. For correct wording or a confidential discussion about leaving a bequest to Animal Welfare League NSW please contact our Legacy Officer on 8899 3333 or bequest@awlnsw.com.au

It is also important when making your Will to plan for the future care of your pets. Whoever you choose to care for them, it is important that they understand this responsibility and are prepared to value your pet as you do.

How your Legacy will help us care for your animals

If you are concerned about ongoing care for your pet, then our Legacy Program can provide peace of mind that your beloved companion will be cared for into the future.

You will have the reassurance of knowing that your companion pet will be taken into care immediately upon your death. You may decide you would like us to find a new caring home, or let your pet live at Legacy House for their natural life.

For information on how to make a Legacy gift to Animal Welfare League NSW for the ongoing care of your pets, please contact our Legacy Officer for a confidential discussion on 8899 3333 or email bequest@awlnsw.com.au
