A Little Bit About Mika
Mika can be timid with new people. She does show some signs of area guarding when you walk past her kennel during the day or of a night time. This behaviour is due to her hyper arousal not aggression. Mika can settle and perform a default down at her kennel door.
When Mika becomes more comfortable with her human she starts to rub against you, initiating touch herself. She can get hyper aroused with excessive touch and softly mouth arms so its important to not get her too excited. Mika would with suited to go home to a family that has children over 12.
Mika can be timid walking in new environments, stalling in new areas she is unsure of. However she is easily convinced that she can do it through food motivation. In comfortable environments she walks on a loose lead.
Mika is very food motivated and also likes chasing toys. She must meet all dogs in her potential new home. She also needs ongoing training with dog socialisation and meeting new people. She does show some affiliative behaviours and is very easily managed with food.
