A Little Bit About Stanley
Stanley and his brother Rocket are a bonded pair of male Guinea pigs who get on really well together.
They are a bit shy, like most Guinea pigs, but are coming out of their shells and starting to explore their run while we are there. They are quite calm when being held for pats but are nervous about being picked up to start with.
They were kept in an outdoor run of a day and a garage at night so have to relearn not to be nervous around people. They are already improving though and we are starting to see them doing their little happy guinea pig "popcorn" jumps around their cage.
While traditionally Guinea pigs have been an outdoor pet they actually make great indoor pets and you then get to really see their personalities.
