FREE event for new and existing AWL NSW foster carers

Have you always wanted to help nurture young kittens, or simply want to know more about foster care?

Animal Welfare League NSW is hosting a FREE kitten bottle-feeding class on Friday 6 September, 1 pm at the AWL NSW Vet Clinic (1605 Elizabeth Drive, Kemps Creek).

The free event is for new and existing AWL NSW foster carers and will be run by two AWL NSW Vet Nurses and our Foster Care Coordinator will also be on-hand to answer any questions you may have. The hour-long class will provide information on how to care and feed for bottle-feeding kittens, as well as discuss information on caring for older kittens and cats in foster.

Spaces are limited for this FREE event, so be sure to email FosterCare@awlnsw.com.au to book your spot!

As kitten season approaches, AWL NSW is looking for more volunteer foster carers to join our team. We are looking for suitable people who may be willing to help save orphaned neonatal kittens that require feeding and toileting every two hours. Foster carers for older kittens and cats are needed too. AWL NSW provides foster carers with supplies such as food, litter, and bedding, as well as providing 24/7 support.

Why not come along to the class and see if it’s something you may be able to assist with!
