Discount desexing available for pets owned by Fairfield City Council residents.
In partnership with Animal Welfare League NSW, Fairfield City council is providing discounted desexing and microchipping for pets owned by local residents during the month of October, 2020.
Having over 50,000 pets already microchipped in their community, Fairfield City Council will be providing free microchipping for cats and dogs to encourage more residents to have their pets microchipped. In response to the NSW Government’s new annual permit and registration costs for undesexed cats, Fairfield City Council will also be offering subsidised desexing which hopes to see an additional 300 cats desexed during the month of October. 50 vouchers will also be available for Fairfield City Council residents to help make desexing their pet dog more affordable.
To take advantage of this offer, Fairfield City Council residents can visit the Council Chambers located at 86 Avoca Road, Wakeley. Residents will be required to pay:
- A subsidised cost of $100 for dog desexing
- A subsidised cost of $30 for cat desexing
All microchipping is free
Once payment has been made, council residents can then contact Animal Welfare League NSW on 02 8777 4450 or email firstname.lastname@example.org to arrange a booking to have their pet desexed.
But I don’t live in this area?
If you are not a Fairfield City Council resident, but need assistance with getting your pet desexed, please contact AWL NSW on 02 8899 3333 to discuss what offers are available in your local area.
