About Us

The AWL NSW St George Sutherland Shire Branch is committed to raising the profile of the branch in the community to help build some good foundations on which to grow. We are always looking for new enthusiastic members who would like to get involved in an exciting time as our branch embarks on some new initiatives.

What We Do

The branch’s main role is offering subsidised desexing and microchipping of cats and dogs for pensioners and low income earners in the area. We have a very low member base and are always on the lookout for new members so we can increase the roles we undertake e.g: fundraising.

How to Get Involved

If you would like to be involved with our branch, to join or even assist with fundraising please contact us via one of the below methods. Our branch has a number of administration roles including a president, treasurer, secretary, publicity officer just to name a few. These are roles that we need to have filled to be able to run the branch, so if you are interested in an administration role or being involved, please contact us.

Monthly Meeting

Branch meetings are held every 2nd month, on a Tuesday night at 6:30pm, at the Gymea Tradies, 7 Manchester Rd Gymea, we suggest people contact us via email if they wish to attend.

General Enquiries

Please email us or call 0400 293 558 for more information. Please note: any adoption or surrender enquiries are to be made via the AWL NSW shelters, as this branch does not offer any of these services.
