Can you help this doggo find a new home?

“You might remember my face, unique as it is, my name is Sam. I have been living here at Kemps Creek shelter for 466 days (so far!) so I’m told that I’m a staff favourite. While I am definitely used to the routine here and I enjoy my daily play and enrichment with my staff friends, I wonder why no one has invited me to join their family for good. Other dogs come and go and I see many kind faces pass by my kennel. Sometimes I believe that visitors think I am too naughty or broken, but my shelter friends say that I am the best boy and I will bring great love and joy to the right family.

I know I’m a lucky boy because I’ve recently been taking a holiday away from the shelter, staying with some very lovely foster carers. They let me sleep on their bed and have spoilt me with a bunch of new toys. Being part of a family has given me a boost and I think now is the time for me to find my perfect forever home. I’d love to start the new year with my new humans and not return to the shelter (except to say my goodbyes, of course!) So please help me spread the word, I will be back at Kemps Creek for one day only this Saturday 28th December, hoping to meet my forever family.” – Sam
