It is time to save the date on your calendar! If you are a resident of the Penrith and Hawkesbury Council with a pensioner/concession card, you can get your pet vaccinated for as little as $20 and microchipped & health-checked for FREE! The Animal Welfare League NSW Mobile Vet Truck (MVT) will be rolling into town on May 21 and 22 and will remain stationed through the day at Penrith Paceway.
Did you know? Hundreds of cats and dogs are lost each year in New South Wales and many are never reunited with their owners as they have no permanent identification. Microchipping is the safest way to ensure they can always get back to you when lost. And vaccinating your pet is essential for protecting them against diseases, some of which can be fatal.
In addition, the Animal Welfare League NSW Hawkesbury volunteer branch will be providing subsided desexing vouchers to residents who need help in getting their pets desexed, and Penrith City Council will be available to discuss pet ownership concerns with locals. Animal Welfare League NSW would like to thank Penrith Paceway for their kind support in allowing us to use the Showground to make this offer available to the community.
