Glen Innes Inspectorate Hub

About Us

AWL NSW’s Glen Innes hub supports animal welfare services across New England Northwest, Northern Rivers and Mid-North Coast communities, and supports the North Coast, Glen Innes, Moree, Armidale and Great Lakes-Manning branches.

Important note: The Glen Innes Hub is not a public shelter, adoption centre, veterinary clinic or animal drop-off location. We are an information centre only.

What We Do

Local Inspectorate Base

The hub provides AWL NSW Inspectors with a local base to respond to animal welfare concerns, conduct follow-ups and support animals and communities across the region.

Pet Owner Support

We aim to help pet owners understand and improve animal welfare outcomes where possible through education. We can also provide guidance and information on support pathways for people experiencing homelessness, domestic violence, or housing challenges where pets are involved.

Local Branch Support

We can connect you with our local volunteer branches for enquiries relating to adoptions, surrenders, subsidised desexing, fostering, and volunteering opportunities.

Community Partnerships

The hub helps AWL NSW build stronger relationships with councils, community organisations and other local services to better support animals and people in the region.
