Animal Welfare League NSW operates under a constitutional charity structure. Governance is by a Board of Directors, which includes a President and Non-Executive Board Director roles.
Call for Nominations for 2026 Board of Directors Election
In accordance with AWL NSW’s constitution, an election and appointment of Directors will take place at the 2026 Annual General Meeting of AWL NSW (2026 AGM) which is proposed to be held in person on Saturday, 28 November 2026. A formal Notice of the 2026 AGM will be issued to members in due course.
Under the Constitution, four (4) Directors in office as at the date of this notice must retire at the end of the 2026 AGM.
Being eligible, each of the retiring Directors currently intends to stand for re-election.
Please carefully read the below three documents and complete the Nomination Form (item 3 below) if you intend to nominate.
Nominations must be received by the Company Secretary by no later than:
5.00 pm (Sydney time) on Wednesday, 14 October 2026.
Nominations received after that time will not be accepted.
