A Little Bit About Perry

Perry is an intelligent, athletic dog with strong working-breed instincts and a real love of having a job to do. She is very smart, highly food motivated, and quick to learn, making her a rewarding dog to train. She responds to her name and to lead pressure, though she can pull on the lead and will benefit from continued, consistent training. Ongoing guidance and structure will help her thrive and reach her full potential.

She enjoys toys, interactive play, and enrichment activities, and she bonds closely with her people. In a home environment, Perry can be affectionate and settle well once her physical and mental needs are met. After exercise and engagement, she is capable of relaxing and enjoying downtime with her family.

Perry can be reactive around other dogs, particularly on lead, and will need an experienced owner who is confident handling and continuing positive training around this. She may be able to live with cats, but this would require very slow introductions, careful management, and an understanding of her working-breed drives.

Perry is best suited to an experienced home familiar with working breeds, where she will receive structure, leadership, and ongoing training. In the right environment, she will be a loyal, engaging, and deeply rewarding companion for someone committed to helping her succeed.
