Meet Lachdown (Bonded Pair with his friend, Shazza)

Lachdown is a sweet-natured Beagle with a gentle soul and a cautious heart. He's bonded with another Beagle named Shazza, and they absolutely must be homed together. These two really rely on each other—Shazza gives Lachdown confidence when he's unsure, and he, in turn, provides her with steady companionship and reassurance.

He's a bit selective with other dogs and seems to feel most at ease around other Beagles. He enjoys gentle play and companionship with his best mate Shazza, and their bond is truly special.

Lachdown and Shazza are happiest when they have people around more often than not. A home where someone is home frequently will help them continue to grow in confidence and feel secure in their new environment.

Because of his nervous nature, Lachdown would do best with a family who understands sensitive dogs and has dog-savvy children who can respect his space and read his cues. He's also cat-friendly, so if you've got feline friends at home, that’s no problem.

Lachdown isn't flashy or bold—he's quiet, thoughtful, and just wants to feel safe and loved. If you're someone who can offer patience, routine, and kindness, you'll be giving this sweet boy (and his loyal buddy Shazza) the second chance they truly deserve.
