Scooby is a big, beautiful boy with a heart so full of love it can bring tears to your eyes. His story hasn’t been an easy one, and because of the trauma he’s experienced, Scooby can be a little wary of strangers at first. But give him time… give him patience… and give him kindness — and you will discover one of the most loving, loyal souls you could ever hope to meet.

With the people he trusts, Scooby is funny, playful, and overflowing with affection. Nothing makes him happier than sitting quietly beside his carer, soaking up a gentle head scratch, leaning in for a cuddle, and simply being close. Once Scooby forms a connection, that bond is unbreakable. When he chooses you, it’s forever — unconditional, unwavering, and deeply devoted.

Scooby loves to run, play, and wrestle with his foster siblings. He delights in the simple joys of life: rolling in the grass, chasing his soccer ball, and proudly parading around with a well-loved plant pot. Despite his size, his heart is soft, and his joy is pure.

While in care, Scooby has been very well socialised with other dogs of all shapes and sizes — males, females, big and small — and has even formed gentle friendships with tiny foxy-cross puppies. He walks beautifully on lead, knows some simple commands, and is eager to learn more with the right guidance.

Scooby is looking for a special human — someone patient, loving, and kind, who understands that healing takes time. Someone who sees not just the dog in front of them, but the incredible companion he is becoming. In return, Scooby will give you everything: loyalty, love, laughter, and a best mate who will never leave your side.
