A Little Bit About Scooby

Introducing Scooby, the gentle giant. Scooby is a big, loving dog with a heart of gold. He loves his cuddles and connecting with humans and he loves to run and play and wrestle with his foster siblings. He especially loves rolling in the grass, chasing and playing with his soccer ball and any disused plant pot he can find.

While in care, Scooby has been very well socialised with all sorts of other dogs, males, females, big ones and small ones. He has recently even made friends with three little foxy x puppies. Scooby is a big, strong and robust dog and is sometimes a bit clumsy when excited and/or distracted. He is therefore probably not suited to very young or older people.

Scoob's ideal home would be one where he gets plenty of opportunities to stretch his big long legs, run around and use up some of that wonderful energy. Scooby is easy to please, and would excel in a home with lots of exercise, lots of love and lots of biscuits and bones.

Already, Scooby is learning to walk nicely on his lead and to obey some simple commands, but he would benefit greatly from further training. With consistency, patience and gentle encouragement he will learn quickly and adapt easily to a kind domestic home life. Scooby would be a wonderful addition to a family situation, one where he would be included in daily activities and provided with cuddles and kindness.
