A Little Bit About Schooner

Note: This dog is currently being cared for in a home and when adopted, it will free up a spot to help another dog.

Meet Schooner, a sweet and wiggly little love bug who is guaranteed to bring joy to your life.

She is a sweet, affectionate, gentle, happy and clever young pup who has absolutely blossomed in foster care, where she has been living with teenage children and another dog. She absolutely loves being part of the hustle and bustle of family life. That said, she can still be a little timid in new situations, so would be best suited to a home with slightly older, dog-savvy kids. 

Schooner is happy, wiggly and sometimes a little worried meeting new doggy friends, and absolutely LOVES her foster sister. She would love the company of another calm and kind dog who could continue teaching her that the world is a safe place afterall 🥹. She would also be okay as an only dog as long as she had lots of puppy play dates to keep her confident and socialised. She hasn't shown any interest in the cats that she's encountered so far. 

Warning: Schooner does sometimes sound like a gremlin when she plays with other dogs, and snores REALLY loud 😂.

Schooner is doing wonderfully with apartment living, is a toilet-training superstar using pee pads, is progressing well with crate training, walks beautifully on the lead, and is even relaxed to hang at home by herself (with her foster sister of course). She is a beautiful little companion ready to find her forever home 

My adoption fee includes desexing, health check, microchipping, I am up-to-date with vaccinations and eligible for free lifetime registration.
