A Little Bit About Quinn
Quinn is a bright, curious puppy with a big personality and an independent streak. He may not be the biggest fan of being held, but he absolutely loves a good belly scratch, especially in those hard to reach spots. While he is not overly affectionate, he enjoys being near his people and will often choose to sleep beside you on the couch rather than on top of you. When he is completely pooped, he is happy to snooze on your lap. He has experience living with another dog, cats, and young children, and has met kids and adults alike, loving them all equally.
Playful and energetic, Quinn frequently gets the zoomies and loves to initiate games with his brothers and people alike. Tug of war is a favourite, as are chase games. He will eagerly run after a ball and stop it, but he is still working on bringing it back. An avid digger and natural explorer, Quinn would thrive with toys and activities that mimic digging, sniffing, and searching.
As a true puppy, Quinn is still learning that hands, pants, and just about everything else are not chew toys. He can be a bit nippy at times and will benefit from ongoing, consistent training. The good news is that he is very food motivated, which should make training both productive and rewarding. He is intelligent, inquisitive, and not afraid to test boundaries, and he is often the first to investigate things he should not.
Quinn can be vocal when left alone and may need support to build confidence with solo time. However, he has shown that he settles much better when in the company of another dog and was reported to do well when left with a canine companion.
Quinn will do best in a home that can provide mental stimulation, structure, and plenty of positive reinforcement. He is clever and full of potential, and with the right guidance he will grow into a wonderful companion. For someone looking for a playful, smart pup who wants to be close but not clingy, Quinn would be a fantastic match.
