Meet Nacho – A Gorgeous Love Bug Looking for His Forever Home

Would anybody like to give our gorgeous foster boy Nacho the loving home he deserves?

Nacho is around 3½ years old and is an absolute sweetheart. He is a real love bug who simply adores his humans and would happily spend his days close by, enjoying pats, company and of course, a good brush! He also LOVES his food — perhaps a little too much — so his new family may need to help him watch his waistline!

Nacho’s journey hasn’t been an easy one.

He was originally found living on the street, he was desexed & chipped by a kind person before moving him to an area closer to her home, where he lived alongside a couple of other friendly cats. One day, all of the cats disappeared and she had no idea what had happened to them.

Some time later, Nacho mysteriously turned up at Seven Hills, quite some distance from where he had originally lived. Thankfully his story took a turn for the better when a resident began feeding him and contacted us for advise.

Nacho was taken to the vet, where it was discovered he was microchipped. His registered owner was contacted and able to tell us about his history and that’s when Nacho’s journey towards finding a real forever home began. Surrendered to AWL, we placed Nacho in foster care.

There is one important thing his future family needs to know: Nacho is FIV positive.

FIV is not a reason to overlook this beautiful boy. FIV-positive cats can live long and happy lives with the right care. Because FIV can affect the immune system, Nacho needs to be an indoor-only cat, unless his new home has a secure outdoor enclosure. he currnetly enjoys a outdoor enclosure in his foster home. He would be happiest as the only cat in the home.

What Nacho really needs now is someone who will look past his FIV status and see the affectionate, gentle and very special boy underneath.

After everything he has been through, Nacho deserves a home where he is loved, safe and never has to wonder where he belongs again.
