Welcome to the world of Chibbs. We introduce him this way because it's his world, and we just live in it, but we wouldn't have it any other way.

This stunning specimen of a dog has a huge amount of potential for owners who want an active, engaged and affectionate companion. Chibbs is cuddly and sweet, has no problems being handled and can be a true love bug. Chibbs is also an active guy and in order to keep him satiated and fulfilled, it's critical he has an owner that can keep up with his drive, ensuring he gets lots of exercise including physical and mental stimulation.

Chibbs is smart as a whip and learns incredibly fast. He is food motivated when it's high value enough and can solidly engage with his handler. Being such an intelligent dog, it's vital for owners to teach him behaviours that they want him to practice, as boredom can lead to destruction or other 'poor behaviours' that dogs find self-reinforcing (but as owners we find naughty).

Chibbs would be a fantastic candidate if you're interested in any kind of dog sports such as agility, flyball, obedience, rally-O, herding or even tracking. He is very prey-driven which is fantastic for training, however, makes him unsuitable for a home with cats or pocket pets.

Chibbs needs further work on his dog socialization, as his frustration can get the better of him when he sees other dogs, and he lacks appropriate manners to engage with them safely. Due to his high drive, he can sometimes get cheeky and jump up, and is slowly learning not to mouth as much (however he is still young lad at just over a year of age), due to this he would be best going with children over 15 years old.

Chibbs requires a fair but firm owner who is able to develop a relationship based on mutual respect. He is loyal and unwavering but will push boundaries if he thinks he can possibly get away with it. We adore this cheeky little pup, he is full of personality and zest for life, and if he continues on a path of fulfilment with training and stimulation he will flourish into a champion.
