Odie is a high-energy young Staffy Cross bursting with personality and playfulness. He's a social butterfly with other dogs and absolutely loves a good play wrestle with his canine companions. If you're looking to add a second dog to your home, Odie could be a great match-as long as the other dog can match his energy levels and help him continue learning appropriate play and boundaries.
Odie has also shown that, with the right slow and controlled introductions, he can live with cats too.
Odie thrives on training and is highly food motivated, making him a great candidate for ongoing learning and enrichment activities. Due to his eagerness around treats, we recommend a home with children aged 10 and up who can understand how to interact with him safely.
While he has shown the ability to self-soothe and keep himself occupied, he did display some signs of stress being left alone. Because of this, he'd be best suited to a home with part-time workers or someone who's around more often, at least while he adjusts to his new routine. With time, patience and consistency, he has the potential to become more comfortable being alone.
