Texas is the kind of pup who marches to the beat of his own drum - and we love him for it. While his siblings wrestle and chase each other, Texas is often off in his own little world, happily chewing a toy or soaking up the sun like a wise old soul in a puppy's body.
This sweet, scruffy little guy has what we'd call "old man energy" - calm, content, and a little bit cranky when someone dares steal his favourite toy. He's not one to cause a fuss for no reason, but he'll certainly let you know (with his surprisingly big bark!) if something's not to his liking. That said, Texas is generally a quiet, chilled-out pup who loves nothing more than a cosy lap to nap in and some quality cuddle time.
He's the most mouthy of the bunch and will need ongoing guidance around gentle play - but he's already making great progress. He's met adults and kids and takes it all in stride, staying fairly calm no matter the crowd. Give him a chest scratch or an ear rub, and you'll win his heart in no time.
Texas is a toy fanatic - balls, ropes, crinkly plushies - you name it, he'll prance around with it like he just won the lottery. He's got a silly, zoomie-loving side that comes out when the play mood strikes, and he's an absolute blast when he's in full puppy mode.
While he enjoys the company of others, Texas doesn't rely on it - his independent streak makes him a great candidate for a home where he might be the one and only dog. He's happiest with his people close by, especially when there's food, toys, or a warm lap involved.
If you're after a pup with a perfect blend of independence, affection, and character, Texas is ready to ride on home with you.
