🐾 Second Chance September: Meet Tabitha 🐾
To adopt means recognising that not every animal comes to us as a playful kitten or a bundle of endless energy. Some arrive carrying stories we cannot fully know, with cautious hearts shaped by experience. They are past the early days when everything is new, yet still have so much to give, a love that is quieter, trust that is earned slowly, and companionship that deepens over time. Choosing to bring one of these animals into your life is not just welcoming a pet but saving a life. For many older kittens, adoption is the difference between spending a lifetime in foster care or finally finding a place to call home. It is a commitment to patience, understanding, and discovering a connection that is quietly powerful and deeply rewarding.
Tabitha is a gentle affectionate ten-month-old kitten with the softest cinnamon coloured fur and a heart full of love. She enjoys a slower pace but bring out her favourite fluffy toy or a red laser and her playful side shines through. She's even been known to kick a ball around like a little soccer pro.
What Tabitha loves most is simply being near her people. She absolutely lives for ear scratches and will gently head butt you if you stop too soon. She starts purring the moment you're close and trills as if she's chatting away to you.
A great work from home buddy Tabitha sits beside you all day on the cat tree never stepping on the keyboard when she comes over for a scratch. Her go to nap spot is a cosy cubby where she can feel safe and snug and she loves sitting at the top of the cat tree to watch the world go by. Believe it or not Tabitha even has a favourite kind of TV home renovation shows are her jam and she'll happily curl up next to you to watch.
Though still timid with new things Tabitha has a lovely personality and once she feels safe and loved she truly blossoms. She becomes a loyal affectionate little shadow always nearby always ready for a cuddle and happiest when sharing quiet cosy moments with her favourite person.
