A Little Bit About Frida

🐾 Second Chance September: Meet Frida 🐾

To adopt means recognising that not every animal comes to us as a playful kitten or a bundle of endless energy. Some arrive carrying stories we cannot fully know, with cautious hearts shaped by experience. They are past the early days when everything is new, yet still have so much to give, a love that is quieter, trust that is earned slowly, and companionship that deepens over time. Choosing to bring one of these animals into your life is not just welcoming a pet but saving a life. For many older kittens, adoption is the difference between spending a lifetime in foster care or finally finding a place to call home. It is a commitment to patience, understanding, and discovering a connection that is quietly powerful and deeply rewarding.

Frida is a sweet and independent kitten who, much like her namesake Frida Kahlo, shows quiet strength and resilience. She is growing into herself and is blossoming into an affectionate and loving companion. When she is in the mood for attention she will come over for pats and give you the cutest little headbutts to ask for more.

She has a talent for finding cosy spots to rest, with a favourite soft towel tucked away on a shelf where she likes to curl up and recharge. While she is not quite a lap cat yet, Frida has a gentle presence and her confidence continues to grow each day.

Frida is very much a cat's cat. She absolutely adores her foster catmates and can often be found tearing around the house in joyful zoomies with them. She has a soft spot for a little mouse toy and will do just about anything for a lick treat.

This special girl is looking for a patient and understanding home that will give her the time and space she needs to feel safe. If you are willing to go at her pace, you will be rewarded with a sweet and steady little companion who will show you affection in the most heartwarming ways.

Frida's journey is one of quiet courage, and she is ready to find someone who sees the beauty in that. In return, she will bring softness, joy, and the occasional cheeky sprint across the room into your life.

All AWL NSW kittens and cats come litter trained desexed microchipped and will have received their first vaccination.
