Animal Welfare League NSW is thrilled to return as an official charity event partner at this year’s Sydney Dog Lovers Festival, happening at the Sydney Showground (The Dome & Hall 2) at Sydney Olympic Park, August 23rd and 24th from 9:30am to 5pm each day.
Whether you’re a dog lover, a fan of The Dog House Australia, or simply passionate about animal welfare, this is your chance to connect with AWL NSW, meet some adorable dogs between 10am and 3pm, and see the incredible work that goes into rehoming and caring for animals across NSW.

Visit our friendly team of staff and volunteers, including some familiar faces from The Dog House Australia! They’ll be showcasing the life-changing work we do and will be there to answer your questions about adoption, foster care and animal welfare in general.
From around 10am – 3pm each day our staff will also be joined by some of our adorable dogs available for adoption.
Don’t forget to grab a keepsake! You can adopt your very own plush dog toy or shop from our exclusive merchandise range, with all proceeds going directly toward helping animals in need.
Step inside our state-of-the-art Animal Care Truck, a fully equipped mobile vet clinic that provides vital services to both regional and local communities.
Explore the custom-designed surgical theatre, isolation room, over 35 recovery cages, diagnostic equipment, and more. Meet our vet clinic staff and learn how this mobile unit brings essential veterinary care to animals who need it most.
Plus – don’t miss the chance for a paws-itively adorable photo op! Kids and adults alike can dress in a surgical gown and ‘operate’ on a plush animal, perfect for a fun and memorable pic while learning more about how vets help animals in need.
