Report Cruelty

Have you witnessed an act of cruelty being committed or do you feel that an animal is being neglected? Are you concerned for the welfare of the animal?

Animal Welfare League NSW is an approved charitable organisation which acts under the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Act. This enables us to employ a team of inspectors who respond to reports of animal cruelty and any concerns received in relation to the general welfare of animals.

Due to the high volume of online cruelty complaints, we are currently diverting reports to our Inspector Hotline. Please call us on 02 8777 4444 or RSPCA on 1300 278 3589.

Please note, we can only investigate cruelty complaints where there are reasonable grounds to suspect an offence has occurred. To assist, we ask that you provide your contact details, these remain confidential and are protected under NSW privacy laws. Complaints must be made by individuals aged 18 or over.
