Adopt a Senior Dog for Just $75
We’re celebrating NSW Senior’s Week with $75 adoption prices on all dogs aged 6 and over!
There has never been a better time to fall in love with a senior dog in need of a new forever home. From 13-24 February 2019, all senior dogs aged six and over at Animal Welfare League NSW will have their adoption price reduced to just $75 to help them find a loving new family – because LOVE is ageless!
There are some great reasons to adopt a rescue dog, especially an older one. With a senior dog, you’ll know exactly what you’ll get. They won’t grow any bigger, and you’ll know their amazing personality straight away! And you really can teach old dogs new tricks!
Dog ownership has proven time and time again to improve physical and mental wellbeing. Our sense of purpose increases as we care for our pet, and we have more reasons to go outside and enjoy the sunshine with a simple walk around the block with your furry best friend. Dog ownership is known to lower our blood pressure, reduce our stress levels and release dopamine – the ‘feel good’ hormone.
All dogs in care at AWL NSW have been desexed, vaccinated, microchipped, wormed, flea-treated and health checked. All they need now is a new family to love.
Our shelter is located at 1605 Elizabeth Dr, Kemps Creek and is open daily from 10am-3pm for adoptions. Our expert staff can help you match with senior dogs that suit your personality preference and lifestyle. To find out more about the adoption process, you can contact our shelter on 02 8777 4445.
To ensure it really is true love, standard adoption criteria and lifestyle screening applies.
